Journal’s Digital Preservation Policy
Journal of Surgery and Trauma is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of scholarly content in compliance with digital archiving standards. The following measures have been implemented for the digital archiving and storage of manuscripts and published papers:
►Storage in Reputable Databases: All articles published in Journal of Surgery and Trauma are archived in trusted national and international digital repositories, including Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, ISC, SID, Magiran, Civilica, DOI, etc.
►Assignment of a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for permanent tracking and accessibility.
►Regular Backups: Electronic versions of articles are routinely backed up on secure, multi-location servers to prevent data loss due to hardware or software failures.
►Compliance with International Standards: Adherence to PDF/A (a format suitable for long-term archiving) and other stable formats to ensure data integrity.
►Open Access Commitment: Guaranteed open access to articles under Creative Commons licenses, while protecting authors' rights.
►Collaboration with Archival Networks: Partnerships with global archival networks such as CLOCKSS, to safeguard content against unforeseen events.
