Appealing the Editorial Decision

Submissions may occasionally be declined without external review, accompanied by a general statement outlining the reason for rejection. In such cases, formal appeals are not usually accepted. However, authors who believe that their manuscript was rejected due to a misunderstanding or that the editorial decision was inconsistent with the journal’s policies and procedures may submit an appeal.

To appeal, authors must send a detailed response addressing the specific issues raised in the rejection letter. This response should not attempt to justify the novelty, interest, or suitability of the manuscript but rather focus on factual or procedural matters directly related to the rejection decision.

The Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team will review all appeal requests. While appeals are given careful consideration, there is no guarantee that a rejected manuscript will be accepted upon re-evaluation. If, after review, the editorial decision remains a rejection, it will be considered final.

If authors are dissatisfied with how their appeal has been handled, they may contact the Editor-in-Chief at amouzeshiahmadgmail.com .

Appealing Corrective Actions Taken Post-Publication

If a published article becomes the subject of a complaint, the editor will decide whether a retraction, correction, or other post-publication notice is warranted. These actions will follow the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and COPE’s Retraction Guidelines, in coordination with the publisher.

Scienceline and its journals reserve the right to take necessary corrective actions to maintain an accurate and transparent academic record.
